The Worldtrade Management Services (WMS) team advises clients in every industry on International trade regulatory issues. The international trade environment in Asia, with its varying trade rules, regulations and compliance requirements presents an exciting and challenging career opportunity that offers great cross-border exposure. As a Manager, you will be leading teams and working closely with Senior Managers and Directors to deliver both local and regional projects, and to maintain and grow our client and intra-firm relationships.
Roles and responsibilities:
- You will be involved in coordination and delivery of a wide range of projects for PwC and the WMS team in your territory and in conjunction with other WMS teams across the East Asia region.
- Client projects typically require knowledge of customs valuation & classification, Free Trade Agreements, import / export compliance and trade strategy development. You will be expected to identify and deliver savings opportunities as well as compliance improvements.
- You are also expected take on a proactive role in planning and executing practice improvement, business development, and other initiatives to develop the WMS business.
Requirements:
- Candidates should have operated in a managerial capacity, with at least 6 years of customs and trade professional experience in consulting or in industry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced changing environment
- Foreign language ability is a plus
- Advanced MS Excel skills are a plus
