Vinh has over 10 years of profession in tax and business advisory service provision in Vietnam. During those years, Vinh undertook various overseas service-specialized short-term trainings within South East Asia team. Vinh has strong experience in leading customs services for direct and indirect investments in Vietnam.
Vinh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance from National Economics University (Vietnam) and Certificate for Practicing Tax Procedures in Vietnam. He is also a member of Vietnam Tax Consultants’ Association and Associate member of CPA Australia
Vinh has taken part in a number of comprehensive tax advice on Vietnamese customs tax for multinational companies in various industries such as trading, industrial manufacturing, telecommunication, and automation technologies. Vinh has extensive experience in providing customs duty petition assistance in respect of various aspects including HS code classification, customs valuation, and duty incentive claim; and overall customs compliance review for certain FDI companies in Vietnam.
Vinh has worked with all different levels of customs, tax and relevant government agencies in Vietnam i.e. Ministry of Finance, General Department of Customs (GDC), General Department of Taxation (GDT)…Vinh also has rich experience in working with tax and customs offices, tax professionals and clients in numerous other countries.
Vinh has involved in providing comments to the draft of Vietnam customs and tax regulations according to requirements of Ministry of Finance and GDC, GDT in relation to Customs Valuation, HS code classification, Customs management procedure, Corporate tax, Value Added Tax, Personal Income Tax, Foreign Contractor Withholding Tax.
