We are currently seeking a well-qualified Manager to grow our team in Singapore. You will be in charge of multiple projects at a time, fronting client interactions, working closely with Directors and Partners in leading cross-border teams from around the world to deliver both local and regional projects, and to maintain and grow our client and intra-firm relationships.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Executing and delivering a wide range of projects in conjunction with other WMS teams around the region and with the PwC Tax, Assurance and Advisory practices in Singapore.

  • Client projects require knowledge of customs valuation & classification, Free Trade Agreements, import / export compliance, customs & trade technology and trade strategy development. Candidates will be expected to identify potential opportunities to improve trade efficiency and savings as well as improvements in compliance.

  • Candidates will be expected to assume a proactive role in planning and executing practice improvements, business development, and other initiatives to develop and create opportunities for the WMS business and its people.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have at least 6 years of customs and trade professional experience in consulting or in industry.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, highly demanding and ever changing environment.

  • Foreign language ability is a plus.

  • A desire to pursue a career in the field of customs and international trade.
